Love this conversation! It resonates with the lyrics I’ve been writing for my musical adaptation of Marla Taviano’s unbelieve - the opening number is inspired by the book’s dedication to Rachel Held Evans, and includes these lines: ”In the darkness of unquestioned faith, a dogmatic pit with no escape, hope came to me with your words. As I released my mind’s control, the breath of Love just filled my soul, now soaring free as the birds.”
